Amanda Deyarmond

With a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in Fredericton New Brunswick, Amanda also possess a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s of Science with a specialization in psychology, from the University of Ottawa.

Amanda’s past experience in the mental health community has consisted of working with young individuals of varying mental health states, these include; suicidal behaviors, major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders, brain injury and rehabilitation, and provided intensive one on one individualized care to promote an increased quality of life. She has supported women who are victims of abuse and their children by providing a safe space for supportive counselling, advocacy, psychoeducation and crisis intervention. Finally, Amanda has experience working with children diagnosed with autism, anxiety and ODD, whereas she has implemented one on one intensive behavioral training to a population that is in a critical stage of life development.
